Expansion of Food and Beverage Industry to Augment Market Growth

The worldwide MVR evaporator industry is expected to grow remarkably in the next several years. The adoption of energy-saving products is also anticipated to present lucrative opportunities for the market, considering the wide application of the product in food and beverages sector.

The MVR evaporator is the equipment used to evaporate water from effluents or mill liquors with minimum consumption of energy and major plant availability while delivering high-quality of condensate. The evaporation process involves a forced circulation flash evaporator that utilizes mechanical vapor compression. The wastewater is fed in a pump through a feedstock heat exchanger and later to a circulating stream. Wastewater from the separation tank is circulated through the primary heat exchanger, the orifice plate, and back into the separation tank by the recirculation pump. The latent heat from the compressed vapor is transferred to the wastewater through the primary heat exchanger. An orifice plate is used to lower the circulating stream's pressure. Flashing the circulating stream into liquid and vapor components is possible since the downstream pressure is so low.

The liquid and vapor are separated in the separation tank after flowing there. The liquid steam flows back to the recirculation pump after leaving the tank at the bottom. At the top of the tank, the vapor stream leaves and travels to the vapor compressor.

According to a research study by Business Research Insights, the global market for MVR evaporators is projected to rise at a CAGR of 5.6% during 2022-2028. In 2020, the market value stood at USD 1063.9 million and is anticipated to grow and reach USD 1475.4 million by 2028.
